Some time ago a friend persuaded me to wear a Pyramid de vie Pendant. He extolled the properties of this device claiming that it improved general health and well-being. I agreed to do so without the slightest belief that it would have any effect whatsoever on my general health. I am 80 years old and have had a number of operations on both my knees which culminated in the complete removal of the kneecap of my right knee. Subsequent to that operation I tore the medial ligament in my right knee. Neither the Orthopaedic Surgeon, who had operated on my knees, nor my General Practitioner believed that there was any chance that, at my age, the ligament would mend itself, they quoted a 30% chance that he did not really believe there was any chance at all,, and I was compelled to wear a knee brace expecting to have to wear it for the rest of my life.
